For a long time, tango and sax have been almost like oil and water. In fact, there are almost no records of any meeting between them. Luckily for us, some things are changing. The Tango, as all genuine musical expressions, is demonstrating that beyond nationalities, ages, instruments and a very long list of many “others”, the truly important thing is the way you play and feel the music.

In our arrangements, you will find references to the tango's tradition, together with harmonic and counterpoint material, shaping, therefore, an original perspective.

The term recodo means angle, turn, bend... this project is for us a corner where we can get into the music of the place we were born, a site where we can take what belongs to us and make our respectful contribution.
